  • September 19, 2025: I gave a talk at the Biomath Seminar at Virginia Commonwealth University.
  • August 25 - 27, 2025: I attended the conference “Nonlinear Phenomena in Complex Systems” at California NanoSystems Institute, UCLA.
  • May 27 - July 30, 2025: I served as a faculty mentor in the NC State DRUMS REU summer program.
  • July 7 - 18, 2025: I attended the workshop “Slow Viscous Flows with Interfaces” research program at MATRIX, Creswick, Australia.
  • June 4 - 7, 2025, I served as a faculty mentor at the SIAM Graduate Student Mathematical Modeling Camp (GSMMC) at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
  • March 8 - 9, 2025, Pejman Sanaei, Hassan Masoud, and I co-organized a minisymposium titled “Mathematical modeling and simulation in fluid dynamics” at the Spring 2025 SE Sectional Meeting at Clemson University, SC. I also gave a talk on “Optimal control of thin film droplet dynamics”.
  • March 3, 2025, I gave a talk at the Applied and Computational Math Seminar at Georgia Tech. Thanks to Dr. Wenjing Liao for the invitation!

  • October 21 - 25, 2024, Dr. Alexey Miroshnikov and I co-organized a minisymposium “Mathematics of Explainable AI with Applications to Finance and Medicine” at the SIAM Conference on Mathematics of Data Science (MDS24) in Atlanta.
  • August 26 - 30, 2024, I gave a talk titled “Mean field control of thin film droplet dynamics” in the workshop on liquid thin films at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences in Leipzig (MPI-MiS), co-organized by Drs. Lorenzo Giacomelli, Hans Knüpfer, Felix Otto, and Christian Seis.
